RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design RTL for high-throughput acquisition front-ends and deterministic triggering.
- Build real-time control loops and DSP blocks for lock-in detection, averaging and filtering.
- Define the host interface — PCIe, Ethernet or USB — and the software that drives it.
- Own timing closure, CDC correctness and on-hardware bring-up.
- Maintain the testbenches that make regressions cheap.

WHAT WE NEED TO SEE
- Verilog or VHDL fluency and a working understanding of synthesis constraints.
- Understanding of clock-domain crossing, FIFOs and pipeline latency.
- Ability to debug on real hardware with a scope and a logic analyser.
ADVANTAGEOUS
- High-speed serial interfaces and ADC/DAC integration.
- Hardware-in-the-loop or real-time DSP experience.
- Embedded C for bare-metal instrument control.
